meet our coaches

Noah Clayton wrestled 4 years at Midlothian Heritage High School, where he was a District Champion, Regional Champion, and 4th place finisher in the 5A Texas State Championship in 2022. He went on to wrestle for 2 years at University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, where he built his collegiate foundation. In 2024, Noah transferred to Tarleton State University, with the hopes of helping to build the first NCAA Division 1 program in Texas. With that team he won a National Dual Championship, NCWA Conference Championship, was named NCWA Southwest Conference Outstanding Wrestler, and placed 6th in the NCWA Collegiate Nationals, earning him All-American honors. Noah is a passionate coach, skilled in breaking down the fundamentals of wrestling, for all ages and skill levels. Noah just graduated from Tarleton State University, and we are so glad to have him home.

John Ward fell in love with wrestling the moment he stepped on the mats in high school. His career began in Houston, Tx. at High School. John went on to wrestle at University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, where he and Noah trained and completed together. In 2024, they both left the Ozarks for better opportunities, and John landed at Texas Wesleyan University in Ft. Worth, Tx. John completed his NCAA eligibility there, and continued to serve his team as an assistant coach. John has a huge love for wrestling, and sharing it with others. We are thrilled to have him as part of our program.
